171 NewburyThe 8,529-square-foot building at 171 Newbury St. has been sold for $13.3 million by Bernard and Suzanne Pucker, owners of the Pucker Gallery.

The buyers were Frank Van Trigt and Jan Boering of Amsterdam. They also acquired 316 Newbury St. for $7.7 million in March.

The flagship retail space at 171 Newbury St. is occupied by Clarks Shoes, which signed a 10-year lease extension last summer. The Pucker Gallery, which has been located in the building since 1967, will lease back its space until construction is completed at 240 Newbury St., where it moves this fall. The new owners plan to convert floors two through five into office space, according to Michael d’Hemecourt, partner and president of retail for Boston Realty Advisors.

Boston Realty Advisors’ capital markets team of d’Hemecourt, Chrisopher Sower and Jason Weissman represented the sellers and procured the buyer. Its downtown leasing team of Wil Catlin and Robert LeClair assisted Pucker Gallery in their relocation.
