BankGloucester

BankGloucester announced it will award a combined total of $20,000 to 19 organizations through its Banking For The Community program this year.

 

Bank of America

Bank of America recently announced that it raised more than $1.15 million to benefit young people from Boston’s inner-city neighborhoods as a result of auctioning works from the company’s own art collection. BofA employees also volunteered at Pine Street Inn as part of the company’s Global Service Month.

 

Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank recently announced the winner of the Exciting Rewind Mortgage Giveaway, U.S. Coast Guard active member Michael Anderson, who will be awarded with $12,000 to assist his mortgage payments for the year.

 

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank awarded a $13,000 grant to the Friends of Acushnet Public Library for the construction of its outdoor reading deck and handicap ramp off the new Community Room.

 

Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank and Massachusetts Treasurer Deb Goldberg recently announced it will distribute $512,000 to 17 nonprofit organizations as part of the Citizens Helping Citizens Manage Money financial literacy initiative.

 

Haverhill Bank

Haverhill Bank recently donated $7,500 to the YMCA to help its mission of improving the lives and capabilities of children.

 

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently donated $1,500 to benefit The Megan House Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping establish substance abuse treatment services for women in need in the Merrimack Valley area.

 

Marlborough Savings Bank

The Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation awarded a $500 grant to the Nixon Elementary School PTO for cultural enrichment programs for their students.

 

MutualOne Bank

MutualOne Bank pledged $2,500 to the Natick Service Council to help low income Natick families with advocacy services and basic human needs, including food, housing, home heating fuel and after school enrichment activities. The bank also announced a $3,000 grant to the Golden Tones Chorus to support its concerts to be this year at senior health and housing facilities in Natick and Framingham. It also awarded $3,800 to benefit Natick’s Morse Institute Library.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank recently presented a check for $1,500 to the The Friends of Dane Street Playground in Beverly for the park’s renovation.

 

RTN Federal Credit Union

RTN Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Waltham, is collecting new and gently used children’s books during “Children’s Book Month.”

 

South Shore Bank

South Shore Bank employees volunteered as counselors at the annual Credit for Life Fair at South Shore Vocational Technical High School in Hanover.

 

SpencerBANK

SpencerBANK recently donated $2,000 to Abby’s House, a local organization that provides emergency shelter, affordable housing, and advocacy services to homeless women and children in Worcester County.
