A developer has filed plans to build 47 condominiums as part of a mixed-use redevelopment of the Cornerstone Pub property in South Boston.
Ryan Sillery of City Point Capital proposes an 11-story building including a restaurant, offices, retail space and condos on a one-third acre site at 14 West Broadway.
The project would replace the pub, which has occupied the site for 30 years, with a 120,164-square-foot structure including 6,315 square feet of ground-floor restaurant space, 4,836 square feet of second-floor offices and retail space, 47 condos, a gymnasium, pool and media room. A 70-space parking garage is proposed, according to plans filed this week with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).
Sillery also is developing the 22-26 West Broadway mixed-use project on an adjacent parcel consisting of 31 residential units in a six-story building.
A preliminary plan was submitted to the BRA in August. Responding to comments from BRA officials, the developer agreed to reduce the building’s height from 130 to 122 feet.
Sillery has an initial financing commitment from Mansfield Bank, according to the application.
