Georgeann Abatzis, of Winchester, has been named director of audit at Winchester Savings Bank.

Abatzis has 16 years of audit, credit and collections, and bank regulatory experience, according to a statement. Before joining Winchester Savings Bank, Abatzis managed the Office of Student Affairs at Regis College. She was also formerly served at UST Corp., Affiliated Community Bancorp Inc., East Cambridge Savings Bank and the Massachusetts Division of Banks.
