Accellent, a provider of supply chain solutions to the medical device industry, has leased 44,711 square feet at 100 Fordham Road in Wilmington.

Accellent presently occupies 21,519 square feet and is expanding into another 23,192 square feet, according to a statement. The company will continue to occupy its existing space and will also occupy an additional building within the complex.

Neil Ross of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Tom Clark of KS Partners represented the landlord on behalf of Fordham Equity Partners LLC, a joint venture between KS Partners and GE Capital.

"This was a fairly complicated transaction with many moving parts as Accellent was not just looking to renew but also to expand and establish a first-class headquarters location that satisfied their long term growth requirements," said Clark.

"Accellent is pleased to have reached this agreement with KS Partners, which will enable our corporate headquarters to accommodate the ongoing growth of our Wilmington-based engineering services group," said Jeremy Friedman of Accellent.
