Andrew Coull, president of Maynard-based construction services and contracting firm JM Coull, was recently presented with the Partners in Industry Award from the local chapter of The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE).

The award was made in appreciation of previous and ongoing contributions to AFE by Coull and others at the firm, according to a statement.

The awards ceremony took place at JM Coull’s recently completed sustainable warehouse project in South Boston for longtime client F.W. Webb.  The facility attracted the attention of AFE with its sustainable approach to energy consumption, utilizing a hybrid solar-geothermal system for heating and cooling the building and solar thermal energy for domestic hot water. Members of the project team led the group in a discussion of the systems and a tour of the facility, according to a statement.
