Sherry Albert has been added as senior engineer and risk assessor at SAK Environmental LLC in North Andover.

SAK Environmental LLC is an environmental consulting and engineering firm specializing in providing sustainable solutions to pollution issues, hazmat spills and environmental management.

Albert is a senior environmental chemical engineer with broad experience in environmental management and risk assessment for the commercial, industrial and public sectors. 

"Prior to be being hired full-time at SAK, I was an environmental consultant for SAK and others for many years," said Albert. "It’s an exciting place to work, and I am enjoying working as part of their team on critical projects and ensuring environmental safety."

In addition to risk assessment, Albert has experience conducting site investigations and remediation design. She has managed over 100 ASTM Phase I/II and/or MCP site assessments and designed remediation systems for groundwater treatment, separate-phase product recovery and dual-phase extraction.

Albert is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Society for Risk Analysis – New England Chapter.
