Boston-based Allegro Interior Architecture has announced 80 percent of its staff is LEED accredited.

The firm, which specializes in commercial projects ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 square feet, now adds across-the-board expertise in sustainable building practices to its capabilities, the company said. Li-chu Lo and Monica Mattingly are the firm’s most recent recipients of LEED accreditation, according to a statement.

"Knowledge of green building practices is a benefit to all of our clients whether it’s their top priority or not," said managing partner, Jeanne Kopacz, IIDA, ASID, LEED AP. "Proficiency in this area, especially when it’s part of our everyday toolkit, allows us to offer the most responsible solutions we can within the context of the clients’ goals. It’s about building in long-term value."

Allegro Interior Architecture has completed projects throughout Boston and New England, including Bentley Motors’ North American headquarters in Copley Square, Arrowstreet Capital, L.P. headquarters in the John Hancock Tower, Alcatel-Lucent in the Financial District and Zachariah’s Restaurant in Norwood.
