Allen Amadin has been promoted to bankruptcy manager from counseling manager at Boston-based American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC).
In his new role, Amadin will expand upon his current responsibilities and will oversee the daily operations of general consumer counseling, as well as consumers in need of pre-bankruptcy counseling and post discharge debtor education, according to a statement. Amadin will be responsible for the management of 70 counselors who respond to more than 1,000 calls weekly.
"Allen’s hardwork, dedication and wealth of knowledge have been undeniable assets to this company," said Steven Trumble, president and CEO of ACCC. "His in-depth experience and unique understanding of financial issues impacting Americans helps to ensure that our clients’ are able to reduce their debt and regain financial stability."

Amadin joined ACCC in 2000 as a budget analyst, according to a statement. He was previously was employed by Winners Advertising as a campaign manager.
