Framingham-based Ameresco Inc., an energy efficiency and renewable energy company, has completed its purchase of Ennovate Corp., an energy service company active throughout Colorado, Nebraska, Montana and Wyoming.

Ennovate’s customers include schools, higher education facilities, municipalities and counties.

“We are delighted the acquisition of Ennovate has been completed, and we are happy to have the team join the Ameresco family,” George P. Sakellaris, resident and CEO of Ameresco, said in a statement.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
