Amplify Learning, formerly The Writers’ Express, is leasing 6,317 square feet at 1035 Cambridge St. in Cambridge.

Amplify Learning joins more than 50 companies at 1035 Cambridge Street in Inman Square, including members in coworking space at Geek Offices, which provides coworking space. Its Cambridge location is home to 20 companies and not-for-profits. 

With this transaction, 1035 Cambridge St. is 95 percent leased. 

Amplify Learning, an education company and a division of Wireless Generation, is expanding from another location farther east on Cambridge Street. Amplify Learning also has offices in Brooklyn, N.Y.  The Cambridge office of Amplify Learning develops programs that include a method and curriculum for teaching writing to students in grades three-12. 

Tech companies at 1035 Cambridge Street are providing website design, and developing mobile and smartphone applications, energy technologies, medical solutions, and cloud computing.  Such firms include Genasun, Digital Loom, Sproxil and Growth Spark.  Some not-for-profit and cooperative companies at 1035 include Transition House, Heading Home, Just-A-Start and Harvest Co-Op.
