The Arbella Insurance Group charitable foundation has raising $57,000 with 73 participating agents to aid local families and organizations in the fight to combat hunger in Massachusetts.

The program ran from December 2009 through the end of February. The program  encourages Arbella agents across the state to give back to their communities. Quincy-based Arbella matches any Arbella agents’ gifts to food pantries and food banks in their communities. With a two-to-one match with up to a $500 Arbella Foundation contribution per agent, Arbella effectively triples the agents’ donations to the organizations in their communities.
