William E. O’Neil Jr. has been elected chairman of the Clinton Savings Bank board of directors.
O’Neil is a native of Clinton and has been a member of Clinton Savings’ board since 1997. He is owner of the law firm Philbin & O’Neil LLC and specializes in real estate, family law, probate, estate and trust administration, as well has other areas of law.
"Bill’s commitment to Clinton Savings Bank has been steadfast," Robert J. Paulhus, the bank’s president and CEO, said in a prepared statement.
O’Neil is a member of the Clinton Exchange Club, and the finance committee of the Immaculate Conception Church. He is also a youth basketball coach and director of the Clinton Public Schools scholarship and enrichment foundation.
He is a graduate of Bentley College and the New England School of Law.
