Oaktree FX Development LLC and The Boynton Co. Inc. have hired Avison Young as the leasing agent for their mixed-use development project, in the West Concord Village District.
Brookside Square, located at 50 Beharrell St., occupies a five-acre, riverside site that has been approved for 36,000 square feet of commercial space and 74 luxury apartments above the commercial space. Construction is expected to begin next month with a delivery date of fall 2014 for the commercial space.
Principals Jack Kerrigan and Steve Cook and Vice President Bill Sullivan will lead Avison Young’s brokerage team.
“We are extremely pleased to be a part of this one-of-a-kind, transit oriented, mixed-use development project in West Concord Village,” Kerrigan said in a statement. “Oaktree has over 37 years of successful mixed-use developments throughout New England and we look forward to finding the right tenants for Brookside Square.”
Brookside Square will connect directly to the West Concord MBTA Commuter Rail Station by a new road. Amenities will include the existing West Concord Post Office, a new market square, and direct access to the adjacent proposed Bruce Freeman Rail Trail and Bike Path.
Arthur Klipfel, Gwen Noyes and Patrick Cleary comprise the developer/architect team.
