The Pittsfield Co-operative Bank is teaming with the Pittsfield Prevention Partnership to support the S.A.Y. It Proud initiative to reward kids for positive activities and making good choices.
Ten Pittsfield youth, ages 9 through 15, will be selected by the partnership to each receive a $25 savings account to reward their efforts.
A community coalition, the Pittsfield Prevention Partnership works to reduce drug and alcohol abuse among young people.
"Pittsfield is very fortunate to have such a resource available to our youth. This is another great example of the good works being done in the community that we’re always pleased to support," said Charles Troccia, vice president of retail banking and marketing for Pittsfield Co-operative Bank.
