For the third consecutive year, BankGloucester will donate $15,000 to 15 community organizations on Cape Ann.

Members of the community are encouraged to vote for the recipients. Voters can choose up to three organizations. The following organizations will be represented on the ballot: Action Inc., American Red Cross of Northeastern Massachusetts, Cape Ann Animal Aid, Cape Ann YMCA, Friends of Seacoast, Gloucester Education Foundation, Gloucester Fisherman’s Athletic Association, Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center, HAWC, Open Door Food Pantry, Rose Baker Senior Center, Sawyer Free Library, SeniorCare and Wellspring. There will also be a space where voters may write-in an organization.

The funds will be distributed based on the number of votes received. Ballots are available in the lobby of BankGloucester, or through their website www.BankGloucester.com.

The organization receiving the most votes will receive $5,000. The organization receiving the 2nd most votes will receive $3,000. The organization receiving the 3rd most votes will receive $1,000. The remaining 12 organizations will each be awarded $500.

Submit ballots in the designated box in BankGloucester’s lobby by Oct. 1 Winners will be announced the week of Oct. 11.
