Boston-based Samuels & Assoc., investment partner Weiner Ventures and American Realty Advisors have received final financing for the $150-million Barry’s Corner project in Allston.
The 350,000-square-foot project at the corner of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue will include 325 apartments and 35,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, along with 180 underground parking spaces and 40 surface spaces. Samuels will lease the land from Harvard University.
HFF worked on behalf of Samuels & Assoc. to obtain joint venture equity from American Realty Advisors and a construction loan from Northwestern Mutual.
"The capital sources got comfortable with the vision Samuels has with the Barry’s Corner site, as it mirrors the successful Trilogy project Samuels developed in the Fenway area a few years back," said Greg LaBine, HFF managing director and lead on the team representing Samuels, in a statement.
The residential units are expected to be complete in August 2015.
