Pellion Technologies has leased 15,500 square feet at 10 Gill St. in Woburn and will relocate from 625 Mount Auburn St. in Cambridge in April.
The company, founded by MIT researchers, is developing a long-life battery for use in mobile, wireless and robotics applications. On Jan. 19, it announced an unspecified round of investment funding from Motorola Solutions.
The Woburn location offers the company more efficient space, according to a statement from Jeremy Hood of T3 Advisors, who represented Pellion in the lease transaction. The lease includes meeting space, open offices and light manufacturing and development areas.
Robb LaBossiere represented Woburn-based landlord Cummings Properties.
