Woburn-based retirement planning firm Bay Colony Partners has launched a new wealth management division.
The new division will expand the firm’s offerings beyond the scope of qualified and non-qualified company sponsored retirement programs, according to a statement. It will "dovetail nicely" with the two other existing practices – the executive suite and the 401 connect divisions – said Bay Colony Partners’ principals Bob Auditore and Gary Cowles.
Auditore and Cowles plan to appoint a wealth manager to assist in launching the new division, according to a statement. The wealth management division will work with individual participants in matters of financial planning, including strategies for assets such as 401(k) plans and IRAs.
