Bay State Savings Bank has promoted Karen L. Matt to marketing officer at its 28 Franklin St. branch in Worcester. Karen Matt

Matt has over 25 years of experience in the marketing and public relations field, primarily in the non-profit sector. She joined Bay State Savings Bank in December 2010 as a marketing assistant and was the 2011 recipient of the Bank’s Community Service Award.

Matt is a director and former president of the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce and a deacon at First Congregational Church of Paxton. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Matt resides in Holden.
