BayCoast Bank in Fall River, formerly Citizens-Union Savings Bank, has promoted Nancy Fernandes of New Bedford to vice president/credit manager.
She will be responsible for overall management of the credit administration team. In addition, she will review and expand loan policies and procedures, report on portfolio trends and concentrations, and manage the collateral valuation process associated with commercial real estate loans.
Fernandes joined the bank as assistant vice president/loan risk analyst after serving as assistant vice president/commercial real estate credit analyst at Compass Bank. Fernandes received a bachelor of science degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. She is also a graduate of The New England School for Financial Studies.
