Nancy Silva and Monica Spach Curhan have been promoted to vice president of loan operations and senior vice president/marketing director, respectively, at Fall River-based BayCoast Bank.

In her new role, Silva will manage and maintain the core operating system of BayCoast Bank in an effort to streamline processes and ensure efficiency. In addition, she will offer support and training to loan operations staff regarding the servicing of loans, the bank said in a statement.

Silva has more than 20 years of experience in banking. Prior to joining BayCoast Bank, Silva worked for Abington Savings Bank for 10 years, becoming the collections manager and loan operations supervisor. She was also previously employed at Crescent Credit Union as a collections manager, and later, collections adjuster.

Curhan will oversee the daily activities of the marketing department, identifying market trends and driving strategic initiatives. Her responsibilities also include coordinating the recent rebranding and name change for the bank.

Curhan first joined Citizens~Union Savings Bank, the precursor to BayCoast Bank, in 2005 as vice president/marketing director. Prior to joining Citizens~Union, she was vice president of marketing for HarborOne Credit Union in Brockton.
