Donna M. Ganczarski has been promoted to assistant vice president, retail loan officer at Fall River-based BayCoast bank.

In her new role, Ganczarski is responsible for underwriting new mortgage applications and providing systems administration for the origination division. As retail loan officer, Ganczarski’s duties include overseeing compliance with state and federal regulations, approving loans and preparing monthly and quarterly reports, the bank said in a statement.

Ganczarski has been with the bank for 27 years, entering as a teller and advancing to loan servicing supervisor and processing supervisor. She holds a degree in business from Bristol Community College and has received additional industry training from the School of Underwriting in Chicago.
