Beacon Roofing Supply Appoints Welker Acting Chief Financial Officer

Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. has made Rick Welker its acting chief financial officer.

Welker, a vice president and the company’s chief accounting officer, took over when the company’s former CFO, David Grace, retired on Dec. 31.

Welker joined Beacon as corporate controller in July 2004 and was promoted to vice president in February 2006 and to chief accounting officer in November 2011.

An executive recruiting firm is conducting a search for Grace’s permanent successor.
