Pittsfield-based Berkshire Bank has promoted George Bacigalupo, Shelley Guyette, Gary Urkevich and Joseph Marullo to new vice president-level positions.
Bacigalupo has been promoted to senior vice president and chief credit officer. He leads the bank’s commercial underwriting team in partnership with the commercial relationship managers, focusing on the quality of the bank’s loan portfolio.
Guyette was promoted to first vice president, human resources, responsible for managing all aspects of human resource operations to ensure effectiveness, regulatory compliance and customer service.
Urkevich has been named vice president of corporate initiatives. In his new role, Urkevich will provide leadership, design, direction and strategic oversight for all corporate-wide initiatives including mergers and acquisition integration, primary systems conversions, major business initiatives and program implementation.
Marullo has been promoted to vice president of commercial lending in the Pioneer Valley. He previously served as assistant vice president of commercial lending, a position he has held since he started with Berkshire Bank in 2006. As vice president, Marullo will continue to expand and enhance business customer relationships within the Pioneer Valley.
