Berkshire Hills Bancorp Promotes Bacigalupo

George-Bacigalupo Pittsfield-based Berkshire Hills Bancorp Inc. has appointed George Bacigalupo executive vice president of commercial banking.

Bacigalupo will be responsible for business banking, including the asset-based lending and leasing business lines. Berkshire’s regional commercial leaders will now report to Bacigalupo, and he will report to Michael Daly, Berkshire’s president and CEO.

Bacigalupo joined Berkshire in 2011 as senior vice president and chief credit officer. He was previously executive vice president of specialty lending at TD Banknorth and senior lender for New England at TD Bank.
