Bernardi Auto Group has hired Lynnfield-based Construction, Management & Builders Inc. (cm&b) to construct two new dealerships at 300 Manley St. in Brockton.

The cm&b construction team plans on tearing down an existing 200,000-square-foot warehouse on a 20 acre parcel of land for a new 51,000-square-foot Honda dealership and a 28,600-square-foot Hyundai dealership, according to a statement. The construction company will work with Westborough architectural firm Regent Assoc. Inc.

At the Oct. 21 groundbreaking ceremony, Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray said the dual dealership project "will support economic development, sustainability and growth for Brockton and the commonwealth."

It is expected that Bernardi Hyundai and Bernardi Honda will bring 125 new jobs once the dealerships open. They are scheduled to be completed next summer.
