Jordan Berns has been named asset manager at Braintree-based commercial real estate development and construction firm Campanelli Cos.

Berns, an 11-year real estate industry veteran, previously served as vice president of business development at Archpartners and vice president of acquisitions at Trammel Crow Co., according to a statement.

"Jordan’s unique background in both finance and real estate make him a perfect fit for Campanelli," said Mark Carroll, senior director of asset management at Campanelli Cos. "As the company’s acquisition and development activity continues to increase, we look forward to utilizing Jordan’s expertise to make smart financial decisions as we seek to maximize returns for Campanelli and its partners."
