Linda J. Pata has been hired as trust officer at Gloucester-based Cape Ann Savings Bank, responsible for the administration of trust accounts, investment management accounts, estates and individual retirement accounts.

Prior to joining Cape Ann, Pata a similar position at Beverly National Bank, which merged with Danversbank and is now part of People’s United Bank. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.

Pata currently has served as treasurer of her local elementary school’s Parent/Teacher Organization for the last six years. She also was recently elected to serve as treasurer of Cape Ann Youth Lacrosse, according to a statement. She lives in Gloucester with her husband and two children.

"Linda brings 20 years of results-driven experience and an abundance of education to those she will serve," said Cape Ann Vice President/Senior Trust Officer John T. Brennan.
