BioMed Realty Trust Inc., which has a presence in Massachusetts, has promoted Greg Lubushkin to chief financial officer.

Lubushkin has served as the company’s vice president, chief accounting officer since joining BioMed in April 2007.

"I am very pleased to announce Greg’s promotion to chief financial officer," said Kent Griffin, who relinquished the title of chief financial officer and retained the titles of president and chief operating officer of BioMed. "Greg has been an integral member of our management team since his arrival at BioMed in 2007. He has demonstrated skilled leadership, a breadth and depth of financial knowledge and business acumen throughout his tenure as our chief accounting officer. We value his judgment and professionalism, and I look forward to working closely with Greg in his expanded role."

Prior to joining BioMed, Lubushkin served as chief accounting officer of ECC Capital Corp. and was an audit partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
