Nova Biomedical has purchased an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing/warehouse facility at 39 Manning Road in Billerica.

The transaction, facilitated by Jack Kerrigan, executive vice president of Grubb & Ellis Co.’s office group, represents the relocation and expansion of Nova’s manufacturing and warehousing operations from 205 Burlington Road in Bedford.

The Billerica property sold for $2.55 million, according to data from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. Nova’s office and R&D functions remain at its world headquarters in Waltham.

"The building, which is almost 30,000 square feet larger than the company’s previous location, provides much-needed expansion space for this growing company," said Kerrigan. "The location is in an area that attracts a highly talented pool of workers and is minutes away from the Burlington Road location, making it an easy transition for employees."
