Blue Hills Bank has filled four more key positions in the bank’s overall administration – bringing the number of senior-level professionals that have been recruited since president and CEO William Parent joined the bank in 2010 to 19.
The newest hires include:
- Kelly Orlando, senior vice president for branch administration
- Michael Cohen, vice president for commercial and consumer loan operations;
- Jennifer Clark, vice president and director of eCommerce;
- Keiran Holahan, vice president for budget and finance
Orlando is responsible for the development of Blue Hills Bank’s retail division and will oversee operations at the bank’s branches. She brings 22 years of banking experience to her new post, having worked in various capacities for Eastern Bank, Cambridge Savings Bank, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union and Cambridgeport Bank.
Cohen has been hired to oversee commercial and consumer lending operations. Another veteran banker to join Blue Hills Bank, Cohen brings more than 25 years of banking experience to the Bank – one year with Rockland Trust; 10 years as senior vice president of commercial client services for Citizens Bank; and 15 years as vice president of loan operations and controller for State Street Bank.
Clark came from Cambridge Savings Bank, where she served in a similar capacity for three years. She also directed retail banking strategy for Danvers Bank and was a senior product manager for TD Bank.
Holahan will be responsible for overseeing Blue Hills Bank’s budget and profitability functions. He joins Blue Hills Bank with almost two decades of banking experience, most recently as assistant vice president for Centreville Savings Bank. He also worked as data warehouse manager for Eastern Bank; assistant controller for FEC Mortgage; senior mortgage accountant for Plymouth Savings Bank and as an accountant for Union Bank.
"These new recruits are veteran bankers with an average of 20 years of experience serving customers in Massachusetts," said Parent. "In my view, nothing replaces experience when it comes to attracting and retaining customers and I’m excited to be working with all of them."
