Blue Hills Bank has hired Jim Kivlehan as executive vice president and chief financial officer and Katherine Peterson as vice president and controller. Both hires follow the retirement of longstanding CFO Steve McNulty.

Kivlehan comes to Blue Hills from Citizens Bank where he worked for more than a decade. For the past six years, he was executive vice president of the consumer bank’s strategy and business analytics function. Prior to joining Citizens Bank, Kivlehan spent 16 years with BankBoston. 

Peterson was previously an audit director of McGladrey LLP. Before that, she was a senior associate at Grant Thornton LLP.
