Gail Donovan, of Reading, has joined Citizens Bank as a mortgage loan officer.

Donovan will work from the Woburn office, and originate a wide range of mortgage programs, including both conventional and government loans. She has been in the mortgage business for 17 years. She came to Citizens Bank from Bank of America, where she was a loan officer, according to a statement.

"Citizens Bank is committed to the mortgage business and, specifically, to growing our home financing operation in the Massachusetts market and throughout our retail banking geography," said Ellen Steinfeld, senior vice president in the bank’s home lending solutions division.
