A rendering of Fitchburg State University's Condike Science Center.  Bond, an Everett-based construction firm, has been selected by Fitchburg State University to construct an addition and renovate the Condike Science Center.

Bond was awarded a $42 million contract for the work in the 99,000-square-foot center, which will include a new 54,700-square-foot addition for biology and chemistry classrooms, laboratories, and support functions. The renovation will provides space for physics and geo-physical classrooms and faculty offices. 

Bond will be working with CBT Architects of Boston on the project which is expected to be completed in January 2014.
