Borges Named VP Of Business Banking At BankFive

Joseph Borges Joseph C. Borges has been named vice president, business banking officer at Fall River’s BankFive.

Working out of the Union Square branch in New Bedford, Borges will concentrate on developing new customer relationships and helping to ensure that BankFive’s commercial banking operations meet the needs of the SouthCoast’s business community, according to a statement.

Borges previously served as a branch manager at Webster Bank for seven years, focusing on retail banking, relationship management and business development.

"We are excited to add someone of Joe’s caliber to our team," said Thomas F. Lyons, president and CEO of BankFive. "His extensive business banking experience shows he has the skills needed to help our customers guide their companies to success.
