415 Boston Turnpike (Route 9), ShrewsburyCommercial real estate development and management firm Boston Development Group has acquired a 36,000-square-foot, three-story office building at 415 Boston Turnpike (Route 9) in Shrewsbury for $4.24 million.

The Shrewsbury property has been fully renovated over the last six years, after it was first acquired by the seller, 415 Boston Turnpike LLC, according to a statement. The building is 97 percent leased and contains 30 tenants, including medical and financial service companies.

The buyer was self-represented in the transaction. Michael Barowsky, Boston Development Group’s vice president of acquisitions, directed the acquisition. Douglas Jacoby, Scott Dragos and James Thomson of Newmark Knight Frank represented the seller.

The Shrewbury property was last assessed for $3.3 million, according to records obtained from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
