Business law firm Ruberto Israel & Weiner P.C. has leased 16,000 square feet of office space at 255 State St. in Boston, and expects to relocate to the new location in June 2011.

The law firm currently has its offices at 100 N. Washington St., according to a statement.

"This new location provides a more efficient layout and takes advantage of market conditions to upgrade the quality of the suite," said Karyn McFarland, senior vice president of Boston-based Grubb & Ellis Co. "While Ruberto Israel & Weiner’s previous home is an excellent building, I know many of the firm’s professionals are excited about the change of scenery after 26 years, and they are eager to share the new space with their clients."

Grubb & Ellis Co.’s McFarland and Matthew Godoff, associate, represented the tenant. Deb Gould and Tim Bianchi of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Pembroke Real Estate.
