A 10,000-square-foot, mixed-use, six-story building in Boston’s North End has sold at auction for $4.5 million.

The building, located at 12 Parmenter St., features a first-floor restaurant, six apartments and a newly built two-story, four-bedroom, four-bath penthouse, according to a statement. The names of the buyer and seller were not provided.

The North End building was last sold in 1988 and was assessed at $1.4 million, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
