Boston Realty Advisors (BRA) has appointed Michael d’Hemecourt as partner and president of its retail real estate division.

d’Hemecourt joins the Boston Realty Advisors’ executive team, leveraging extensive retail brokerage experience to advance the growth of the company’s retail division. Prior to joining Boston Realty Advisors, he was an associate director within Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group. Executing more than $2 billion in sales and leasing totaling 9 million square feet, he and his business partner were ranked the top retail team in the country across all brokerage firms in 2007, according to a statement.

He has represented such respected shopping center owners as: Morgan Stanley, Federal Realty Investment Trust, Kimco, The Flatley Co., Eastern Development, New England Development, WP Realty, Samuels & Assoc., Lehman Brothers, Centro Properties and Edens & Avant, among others. Mr. d’Hemecourt is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
