Boston Retail Property Sells For $3.2M

Shire Realty Corp. has purchased 122-128 Cambridge St. in Boston’s West End neighborhood for $3.2 million.

The property is located at the foot of Beacon Hill near Suffolk University’s main campus. The building contains a Store 24, a yoga studio and is topped by a billboard.

NAI Hunneman Associate Sean Ryan procured the buyer and represented the seller, Ozzy Properties, in the transaction.

"We have seen a high demand for this type of product lately as investors look for ways into the competitive Boston real estate landscape," Ryan said in a statement. "The heavy foot traffic and area amenities, which include [Massachusetts General Hospital], Government Center and Suffolk University, make it a very distinct piece of real estate in a very high-profile area."
