A commercial property located on Boston’s Beacon Hill, across from The State House, has sold for $4.15 million.

Best known as the location of restaurant No. 9 Park, the mixed-use property had been continuously owned by the same family since 1939.

The building at 9 Park St. was originally designed and built around 1804 as a private residence for businessman Thomas Amory, according to a statement. The architect was Charles Bullfinch.

Over time, the original structure was divided and altered to include ground-floor shop extensions and the addition of Queen Anne-style oriel windows and dormers on the upper floors.

Geoffrey Gibbons of First Boston Realty International represented the seller. Anthony Rich of Northeast Realty Group represented the buyer.
