The Boston Redevelopment Authority Board has announced the approval of approximately a dozen new projects across the city, totaling approximately 1.9 million square feet and requiring approximately 3,500 new construction jobs.
The projects include a new dorm and a the redevelopment of the library at Emmanuel College, additional research and lab space for Brigham and Women’s, more beds for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, senior housing in Mission Hill, Ink Block Development’s plans for the former Boston Herald site on Harrison Avenue, new hotels in Roxbury and on Tremont St. downtown, and new rehearsal space and dance studios for the Boston Conservatory.
