Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) board member Chris Supple will step down on Feb. 1, after more than a decade at the agency.
Supple, who completed two full five-year terms on the BRA board, will continue to serve in his government-focused law practice after he leaves the agency, according to a statement.
"It has been a truly great 10 years working with the truly great folks at the BRA and in City Hall, but after a decade of service, I’m really looking forward to having the extra time and focus to devote to my law practice and my family, and also to other important civic and charitable activities, in particular autism advocacy," said Supple.
"I want to thank Chris for his tremendous service to the BRA and to our city," said Mayor Thomas M. Menino. "His legal and government policy expertise, and knowledge of Boston’s neighborhoods, helped guide the BRA in many important decisions. We enjoyed working with Chris at the BRA, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him going forward."
