Mark S. RobinsonMark S. Robinson, of Braintree-based Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson LLC (KAF) has been reappointed to the State Board of Public Accountancy by Gov. Deval Patrick.

Robinson, a founding shareholder of KAF and its director of business valuation services, was originally appointed to the Board of Public Accountancy in 2006 by then Gov. Mitt Romney, according to a statement.

"It is a great honor to continue to serve the Commonwealth as an appointed member of the Board of Public Accountancy," said Robinson. "It has and continues to be my belief that my appointment is a statement and validation of the firm that KAF has become."

Robinson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, according to a statement. He currently holds securities Series 6 and 66 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and has also achieved a CPA/ABV designation as accredited in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
