Barbara Brant was named Realtor of the month for September for Middleboro-based Debbie Blais Real Estate.

Brant has nearly 30 years of experience working in many aspects of human services with a strong emphasis on housing issues, according to a statement. She manages rental properties, administers education and guides first time homebuyers through purchase assistance programs.

Brant is also certified in loss mitigation.
