BofArobberyThe serial bank robber dubbed the "Brim Beanie Bandit" has struck again, police said today.

On Monday at around 9:34 a.m., the suspect targeted the South Shore Savings Bank branch at 1538 Turnpike St. in Stoughton. It was his fifth robbery in the Greater Boston area since December. In this robbery, he wore a black brim beanie cap, black jacket, dark pants and black gloves, police said.

He is described as a white man in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately 5-foot-7and 150 pounds. Police did not say how much money he stole during this robbery.

Local police and the FBI believe this suspect is also connected with previous robberies in Quincy, Stoughton, Needham and Braintree. While he did not show a weapon during this most recent robbery, authorities consider him to be armed and dangerous.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading directly to the arrest and charging of the robber. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Boston Division at (617) 742-5533 or Stoughton Police Department at (781) 344-2424.
