Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic Boston Bruins big man Milan Lucic has purchased a North End condominium from a former teammate, while ex-Bruins winger Phil Kessel has sold his unit at Boston’s InterContinental hotel.

Lucic, a 21-year-old forward best known for his skill in working over opponents’ faces with his fists, bought a unit at 50 Fleet St. in the North End from P.J. Axelsson, according to data from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

The 1,885-square-foot unit sold for $1.65 million. Lucic signed a three-year, $12.25 million contract extension with the Bruins in October.

Axelsson had bought the unit in 2006, for $1.5 million. The longtime Bruin left the NHL to play in his native Sweden last year.

Kessel, whom the B’s shipped to Toronto last fall, sold his 1,600-square-foot condo at the InterContinental for $1.56 million – exactly $10,000 more than he paid for the unit in 2007. The buyer was Lawrence C. Best.
