Kristen S. Buck of Marlborough’s DCU Insurance is among a group of employees at independent insurance agencies from around the nation to be recognized as a personal insurance "high achiever" by Travelers.
Of the 1,800 agencies eligible for this designation in Massachusetts, Buck was one of six individuals selected for this recognition in 2011, according to a statement.
The Travelers High Achiever award is designed to recognize insurance agency employees who display superior levels of customer service, demonstrate leadership skills, encourage teamwork among their peers and contribute to the overall success of their agencies. Buck received the award at a recent conference held in Grapevine, Texas.
"Kristen’s commitment to creating value each and every day for our members, as well as her positioning of DCU Insurance as a pre-eminent insurance agency is evident through her leadership skills, personalized service and dedication to providing expert and cost-effective solutions," said Dennis Murphy, director of DCU Insurance. "She has spearheaded initiatives that have led the agency to build a portfolio of over $10,000,000 in premium sales and can be directly attributed to growing organic policies by over 35 percent in the last year and a half. We’re extremely honored that Kristen has been recognized by Travelers and we appreciate her contributions to the agency and our members."
