Richard Morrell and Craig Goryl have joined Cabot Money Management, an independent wealth management firm based in Salem, as marketing manager and research analyst, respectively.

Morrell most recently served as marketing communications manager at Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston, where he was responsible for managing the organization’s online marketing and public relations efforts, according to a statement.

Before joining Cabot, Goryl worked for Gerson Lehrman Group as a senior research manager.  He has also worked at Putnam Investment Management LLC as an equity analyst, Cabot said.

Cabot Money Management was founded in 1983. The company said it currently has more than $500 million in assets under management for high-net-worth, corporate and non-profit investors.
